Today marks the first day of June... and you know what that means! That's right! The new DISNEY ADVENTURES is out! I actually picked my own copy up last week, but now that it's June, you can now start using the calendar, and all the dates finally make sense! This issue, like May's issue, is another movie issue. There are articles, and exclusive interviews, pertaining to Ratatouille, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Shrek 3, and Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board!! As it advertises on the cover, this is the ULTIMATE PIRATES issue with a few multipaged spreads! In this issue, there is also a fantastic reading list; today, I actually bought one of the books, Vampirates, and it seems quite interesting so far. So pick up your own own June issue today!





When you were little, what images came to mind when you thought about your grandma? Although everyone is different, I'm guessing when you think about Grandma, you think of fresh-baked cookies, love, and warmth in a cozy, little house. Well, The Daily Mail is reporting that DISNEY Villains are giving children negative images about "the elderly". No offence to the Daily Mail, but NEVER in my life have I ever connected the image of Cruella DeVil to the thought of my sweet, precious grandma and her MahJong-playing friends.
